Peter Brantley is the Director of the BookServer Project at the Internet Archive, a San Francisco-based not for profit digital library. He previously served as executive director of the Digital Library Federation, he is a co-founder of the Open Book Alliance and has been a member of the board of directors of the International Digital Publishing Forum, the standards setting body for digital books. He contributes regularly to several blogs on libraries and publishing, discussing transformations in media and information access.
